The software offers dual scanning mode for scanning corrupt EDB files. The default Quick scan mode recovers data from a minimally corrupt EDB. The advance scan mode needs to be selected in case the file is severely damaged.
In order to convert data of a corrupt EDB file, the software first recovers the data from the file and then converts the entire data file items into NSF format. The resultant NSF file can then be accessed in Lotus Notes easily.
The software facilitates the user to migrate bulk Exchange mailboxes to NSF format. The user will convert the entire data residing in the Exchange mailboxes like emails, contacts, calendars, etc. to NSF file format.
EDB to NSF Converter allows the user to select from Public and Private Store Database file from the panel. Once selected, the software will enlist all the mailboxes present in the selected Exchange store database.
When converting EDB file data to NSF format, the software will automatically save the contacts of Exchange database in names.nsf file and other data items like emails, calendars, tasks, etc. in username.nsf file.
Once the software scans the selected database, it will load all the mailboxes residing within the database. The user can select all the mailboxes that have to be converted to Lotus Notes NSF format.
EDB to NSF Converter does not require Exchange Server installation in the user machine for processing the EDB to NSF conversion. The software will recover and convert the EDB file even if Exchange server is not installed.
Once the entire EDB file data is recovered and converted to NSF file format, the software will automatically generate a report of the entire conversion process. It will show the status of the pending mailboxes, converted mailboxes, etc.
